"The Driver was Solid and Penetrating" Name: Cutler Whitman From: cutler.whitman@xxxe.com Location: Bedford, New York, United States David, So I took your system to the range and spent an hour on it. I started hitting the driver and it was solid and penetrating. I translated that to a 7-iron and it still was thin and not solid. So I regrouped and once again hit excellent drivers and then felt the concept of the chest puffing out. I grabbed the 7-iron and viola I was firing them solid and straight. So I grabbed the 3-iron and once again was making great contact with excellent trajectory. Even my misses were straight. So I grabbed the gap wedge and looked to the 100 yard flag and was keeping my shots within the makeable birdie/guaranteed par range. What I am saying is that as of right now I am a believer. I am hoping to take the swing to the actual course this week and will let you know. Just so you know I was a 3 handicap at my best and now I am a struggling 15. Thanks for the help, and I will report back soon. Regards, C Whitman |

-----Original Message----- Dear David: I have recently taken up golf again. I am 76 and in very good shape. In my 20s I played the game seriously, had a low handicap of 6 and eventually got very frustrated that I couldn't play scratch golf -- so I gave it up, cold turkey. in the intervening 45 years, I probably played three rounds and never missed it. Now I have a little time and opportunity, so I started up casually last year. It was frustrating once again, mainly because I wasn't getting good, consistent ball strikes... and I certainly wasn't scoring well, bogey golf or worse. Then I saw your ad and bit, buying the package. Your technique was a revelation! I started to hit the ball like I knew I could (although I don't have the distance I had as a 25-year playing with wooden clubs). The chipping lesson was a miracle. I love to practice and boy, did this improve my consistency around the green. So I had a 78 the other day with a couple of missed short puts... but the best part was that I was swinging with practically no effort, getting good contact and consistent length (which was completely absent before -- I never knew whether my 6-iron was going to go 120 yards or 160). Many, many thanks for the inspiration, Ted Ewing |
"I am a 10 Handicap - Everyone was Shocked" David, I am a serious golfer with a 10 handicap but inconsistent. I read the tips and went to the driving range to practice on Sunday; I then shot a 38 at a difficult course for my traveling golf league in pouring rain! I left a couple of putts on the lip and would have been even better. Everyone in the league was shocked! Great system! Chris Marsh - cnm_01@exxxe.com |
"I Hit it Much Straighter" Hi Dave, I bought your course about a month ago. I am a new golfer (started playing in April of this year) and not a kid (64). I had taken a couple of lessons, but still was slicing up a storm. I followed your directions and while I hardly have a perfect swing, it has improved dramatically. I don't hit the ball a whole lot further, but do hit it straighter, but as it is not slicing a lot, I get more effective distance. I also benefited even more from your course on chipping. As a guy who doesn't hit long or very straight, I often end up chipping. Like many guys who are starting out, sometimes my chips would be line drives, well past the green and others would go only a few yards and have been pulling what is left of my hair. I am not a great chipper yet, but I seldom do the shots mentioned above and that cuts strokes off the game and more importantly make the game more fun. I must admit, I wasn't sure your course would be worth the money, but it was cheap enough that I didn't really care. IT IS WORTH THE MONEY and the nice thing about it, is it is like having a coach here on my computer. I now come back and review after a round of golf. Then I go out the next day to the driving range and practice correcting what I was doing wrong. I may never go out on the senior tour, but I have gone from a double bogie golfer to about a bogie golfer since I got the course. I expect to be shooting better than that as time progresses and I get more consistent at doing what you teach. Best regards, Paul |
"All I can Say is Thank You" Dear David, I've learned through many lessons in life to be skeptical about things that sound too good to be true. As I read the testimonials on your web site, I was thinking you must be a pretty good writer to make them sound different. Well I can now honestly say " Wow this is amazing". I read your book, didn't go to the driving range but straight out to the golf course. It was a rainy cold day and I think there may have been two or three other golfers on the entire course other than my playing partner and me. Normally these cold, rainy days it takes me nine holes just to loosen up but right from the first tee I made solid contact. The ball flew high and straight. Every hole there after was the same. I've never ever had a day of making such solid contact thru 18 holes. The ultimate test came on the 5th hole where I'm sitting at 200 yards out in the middle of the fairway on an uphill par 4. I grab my 3 iron which still looks new from lack of use and I nail it to 15 feet of the hole. I wound up shooting 80 and the only reason that I was that high, was club selection between my sand and pitching wedge. I was getting so much action on my sand wedge that 3 times I hit the front of the green and it sucked right back off the green. That's the first time that has ever happened to me. To top things off my playing partner, seeing me hit so well, asked me what I'd changed. I gave him a brief lesson and within two holes he's hitting them a far and as straight as I've ever seen him. All I can say is thank you. Now if it works for my wife, this will have been the best investment ever. Regards Joe |
"9 Pars in a Row... Very Good For Me" Hi David, I wanted to let you know that I have played 3 times since adopting your set-up method from "The Simple Golf Swing". I have been going golfing as much as possible since I have adopted your set-up. My last time out, I had worked hard physically all day, and only had time for about half a round before dark. My back was a bit stiff from bending forward for the work I was doing that day. My first three holes, I wasn't getting down to the ball well, but on the third hole I mashed a fairway wood 220 yards and straight as an arrow, and knew I was getting pretty well warmed up. I went on to par the rest of the holes on that nine, and still had enough light to play a few more, so I played 10, 2, and 18, a little mini circuit. I left my birdie putt on the front lip on 10, but went on to par 2 and 18. That made 9 pars in a row, which is very, very good for me, and I attribute most of it to the new set-up. Thanks again for sending that to me! With this recent success, I can't wait to play again! Michael Day - mikeaday@exxxe.com - Arlington, TX 76017 |
"The Ball went Much Further" I was hitting balls fat and in general just inconsistent contact with the ball and no idea how far or where the ball was going to go. I had my brother, several friends, and several respected golfers watch my swing. Not one of them suggested I take my lower body out of the equation. (maybe because it's not in Ben Hogan's book??!!) Anyhow, I read Dave's tip about the lower body causing the right shoulder to drop and hit the ball fat. I went into the back yard and tried what he had suggested. I noticed the club was consistently brushing the grass in the correct spot. I ran out to the range with my clubs and the first 7 iron I hit went perfect, as well as my my 6 and 5. I also hit my 4 iron right on the money, I hadn't even tried to hit lower than a 5 iron in two years. To say the least, I was pretty happy about this. So, I tried his finish with an "X" concept too. I was amazed, the ball went much further and I could work the shot as well. In short, some great game saving tips! Craig Jarvis - vitaljarv@exxxe.net |
"I am a Believer in Your Golf Method" David, I have not played golf since last month, over 30 days ago and after reading your “simple swing method” I tried it this morning at the range and then proceeded to go play golf… I shot a 44 on the front and a 38 on the back for an 82. I had two birdies on the back. I had been shooting in the 90's lately, and my handicap had been getting worse. If I had not wasted some shots on bad putts, chips, and club selection I would have even shot better. I hit the ball really well today and am a believer in your golf method. All I did was think about my setup, alignment, and where my right shoulder needs to be…. Thank you so much, Scott Horn, San Antonio, Texas |
"I Dropped 6 Strokes" Dear David, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I downloaded the Simple Golf Swing July 23rd and I feel like I now have the tools to continuously improve my game. I was ready to put my clubs away I was so embarrassed by my play, which was getting worse as the season progressed, not better. Once I started applying your instructions, my game improved immediately, and this only in the last three weeks! I have dropped an average of 6 strokes in this time and am shooting rounds under 100 routinely for the first time in my life. I also feel that with continued practice of your principles I can reach 90 or less. I am more consistent and my shots are going straight more of the time. I am excited about playing again for the first time in three years. |
"Thanks David, You Made Me Consistent" Aloha David, I didn't get a chance to thank you. I purchased your program back in the beginning of July 05. I was going on a golfing vacation and I really wanted to impress my friends and family. Anyway, long story short I used to shoot in the mid to upper eighties -very inconsistent with my clubs. I read your booklet on the plane ride back home, went to the driving range and sure enough I started playing in the 77-82 range every time I went out! The best thing is that I have come back home and I'm still playing at that level and I only play once per week! I know I could be better if I played more but being in the military right now doesn't allow me much time for anything else. Thanks David, you made me consistent. Sincerely, Tom Ledford USN, Pearl Harbor Hawaii |
"Yours is the Only Course that Delivered - I shot a 79" David, I have been delighted with your golf system but being a greedy human, I of course wanted more and thought I could get more. I went and bought an attractive looking book. The 10 principles of golf or something of the sort. Slightly different grip, stance, promised distance an accuracy . Well I went out Saturday to try it out and the first 9 was a miserable 49. At the turn I committed back to your system - grip, stance swing and all and shot 41 on the back. Then to top it off, Sunday using your system shot 79!! On a tough course. I know in your course you comment that short in the fairway is better than long in the rough but your system gives me such confidence that by the end of yesterdays round I was swinging away and hitting drives a respectable 240 to 250. Again of all the courses I've bought in my life yours is the only one which delivered. Thanks again. JOHN DAVENPORT BOBDPT1@exxxe.COM

"A Final Round of 85 - Unbelievable" David - I have to admit, I am a skeptical person when it comes to claims of products and personal testimonies. I purchased your “simple golf swing” I read it from cover to cover several times and saw the potential. With the weather and a busy schedule I didn't put the time in to practice. But! it was still ingrained into my head. How simple it really was. It's now been several months of off and on practice and playing golf when ever I could, trying to produce the results claimed in your product. I am now a changed and convinced player. It has clicked - not only have I reduced strokes I have reduced my frustration with my game many folds. I started with a average of 110. Yesterday a beautiful day, sun shinning I started the first hole double bogey, my first thought was here I go again then, par, par, par, par, birdie, par, a final round 85 - unbelievable. I put it together, it came together. It felt so good I played another round, a 92. I was exhausted. Today, I couldn't wait to write my testimony. Thanks David, I couldn't be happier, it was a well worth the invested money and time. Richard Pinley Reedley, CA - rickannay_pinley@exxxe.net

"Handicap Down from 21 to 18" Hi David - just thought I'd share this quick note with/ you - I was buried in the greenside bunker on 18 yesterday, and I remembered your tip about closing the club face and hitting two inches behind the ball and darn if it didn't work!! I was out with a splash and about 10 feet from the hole -- and got up and down for par!! Thanks for the tip! Maria Mark (handicap down from 21 to 18)- Atlantic
